ModeratorHi so the e-mail worked this time round? But not the redirect function, is that correct? If that is correct can you deactivate all your other plugins except this one Simple Membership and all the add-ons and carry out another test to see if the redirect works.
Can you also check the log file again.

ParticipantHi
No this is not totally correct
As i told you, after subscription I got immediately the final confirmation email, always WITHOUT ANY CONFIRMATION OF MY EMAIL ADDRESS (the mailchimp invitation to confirm the address came AFTER the confirmation email sended by your plugin.)
The redirect failure is not very important, compared to this problem, witch is a big problem because one gets access to the content with fake email address. What if i replace the text in your final email and i put the confirmation link inside?

ModeratorSorry for misunderstanding your last comment above.
I just had another idea, can you disable the Mailchimp add-on and test the registration again.

ParticipantHi did you get my message with my registration page? Please?
Always does not workJune 14, 2015 at 3:36 am #2081mbrsolution
ModeratorHi, I did read your post above. I have submitted a message to one of the developers to check your issue. I suspect that you might have a mail issue. In the meantime while you wait, you might like to install the following plugin to see if that helps you.

KeymasterI can’t see any PayPal IPN being received by the plugin. I am pretty sure the IPN feature is turned off in your PayPal account. Please check it in your PayPal account. The following video maybe helpful in learning how to enable PayPal IPN:

ParticipantHi
now i installed also the smtp plugin, witch worksbut this makes no difference, i did a new subscription, and another time i received always the same email without any email confirmation request befor:
Dear new test 2
Your registration is now complete!

Thank You
So i’ll have to reactivate mailchimp
wait for the user’s subscription confirmation on mailchimp
than manually change the user account from pending to active.User will get the above email from the plugin, witch doesnt serve.
Than he will get another email from mailchimp, requesting for confirming
and finally I have to send him manually another mail telling him that i just activated his account!I would be more logical that after subscription the user gets
1/the correct email sended from the plugin, inviting him to confirm his email address,
2/and only later automatically the email account confirmation.
default setting could be than “active” and not pending, and the admin doesnt need to activate one by one each accounts.Or other solution:
1/The plugin doesnt fire any email
2/mailchimp sends the confirmation request
3/the user confirms
4/and than mailchimp sends the account confirmation with login and password??

ParticipantHi
Always waiting for your solution… anybody here?
I spend too much time on this plugin to change for another, please debugAugust 25, 2015 at 7:04 pm #2802cfajardo79
ParticipantHi,
I am having same issue, I set the status to pending but I receive the email saying the registration have been completed, however, since it’s pending, I need to change it manually.
I would like the users to receive an email, they confirm it and then they can log-in, while they don’t do that, they won’t be able to log-in, is it possible to do it?
Regards

ModeratorHi did you update to the latest version 3.0.7? If you did, did it fix your issue?
August 25, 2015 at 10:23 pm #2804cfajardo79
ParticipantHi,
Yes, I am using Versión 3.0.7 and is here where I would like the users to receive an email to confirm the account and then complete it, otherwise, won’t be able to log-in.

Moderator@cfajardo79 can you explain your process further? Did you create the accounts manually? Did you import the accounts from WordPress Users? Please provide more information.
Thank you

Participant@mbrsolution The user registers, and the default status is pending, he receives an email saying that the registration has been completed which is not true, to change the status, I need to change it manually.
What I want is the user to receive an email to confirm the account so no one can input fake accounts, onces the confirm it by a URL, the status change to comnplete and then is when he can log-in.
The idea is not to change the status manually thinking that many users could be on the registration process.
Regards
