Change or cancellation of subscription

I read in the forum that a cancellation of a subscription by the user was not foreseen.

What is the suggested process for these typical tasks:

• User wants to end paid subscription and change (back) to free membership level
• User wants to end all membership levels (our users get a newsletter which is different for free and paying members. They may want to end all memberships and thus email subscriptions.
• User wants to delete his/her account

Can any of this be done by the user him/herself? Or does this always have to go through the Admin?

Check the following documentation. This might help you.

User wants to end all membership levels (our users get a newsletter which is different for free and paying members. They may want to end all memberships and thus email subscriptions.
User wants to delete his/her account

This can be achieved by allowing the member to delete their account. This can be achieved by enabling the following feature Allow Account Deletion under Advance Settings.

You might also have to check Aweber and Mailchimp, if you have added these addons and delete their accounts from these services.

Your tools and documentation are really good. They are just not always easy to find, because to find a solution one has to read not only the documentation, but also the info about each add-on, which may or may not provide a solution (who would have thought, that a downgrade was possible via the Shortcode Addon?)
