    I registered a test user on my website with a $2 monthly subscription. Then I deleted his account to test the process.

    I was pleased that his name was removed from Members and from Users, however

    1. I did not receive notification that his membership had been cancelled.
    2. His PayPal subscription was not cancelled.

    I’m assuming that I should receive notification and that the subscription should be cancelled. How do I resolve this please?

    Hi, when you deleted the account was that while your were logged in as the member or did you delete the account as the admin?

    I was logged in as the user. I was going through the process if I were a member who was cancelling.

    Thank you for reporting back. I don’t think that feature is enabled in the plugin yet. The plugin developers will research further your request.

    Thank you for your help. I have changed the default info on the Delete Account page to include more info, specifically that they will have to cancel their own PayPal subscription.

    I did another test run of deleting membership/account and noticed that in addition to me not being notified of the member leaving, the member did not receive any confirmation of his profile being deleted or any kind of good bye.

    Could I ask that this feature be included in a future version as well.

    Perhaps I will add a redirect to a goodbye page.

    You need to cancel the PayPal subscription from the PayPal account (that is separate). The member or you (the merchant) can cancel the subscription.

    I read the documentation what happens after cancellation subscription but it’s not helping me any where

    I want to user to cancel the subscription through my website not delete their account is dere any solution for this case

    It vill be very very helpful if anyone help me find solution

    At present there is no option for the member to cancel a subscription via the plugin. You can read the following documentation to learn about what happens when someone cancels a PayPal subscription.
