Hello:
I don’t know if anyone can help with this through Simple-Membership but once I activate the bbpress and simple-membership integration, my blog feed closes on the public site windwardoaksontherez.website Halfway down the home page the blog feed should show up to the right of the Events. In the menu bar under the News link, the list of blogs should show up but the page is blank.
In order to work around the content/category page protection, I created 2 menus. Once a member logs into the site a second menu opens for just the members to use. The blog feed works after the login but not before. I don’t have any pages protected, private settings or anything else hindering the blogs for public view.
The only thing that I can see causing the problem is the Simple Membership login that makes the blogs available to users and blocks anonymous. I’ve sent this conflict to bbPress, WordPress, and the bbPress Simple membership premium support with no response. If anyone can help, I would appreciate the insight.
Hi, I don’t use bbPress myself so this suggestion might not help but it is worth a try. Can you check the following troubleshooting documentation.
Let me know how you go.
