Hi, I would like that when a user buys an specific product, it automatically is added as a member of a specific member level.

Yes. I am using Woocommerce. I am selling a virtual product “A” and I want that when a client purchases “A”, this client is automatically added to an specific membership plan.

I have to do it this way, because I cannot accept payments with PayPal or stripe. Only from a local provider in Argentina.

If that’s the case, none of the usual eCommerce solutions we’d recommend would work. The only workable solution, that would not violate any of your laws, is to include some kind of serial number with your virtual products; that can be redeemed for a membership. Because SWPM is an open source project; the developers have no interest in actively circumventing the eCommerce laws or restrictions of other countries.
If you already have a way to accept payment via WooCommerce with this local provider you are talking about then it could potentially work with our WooCommerce integration. Do you already have a setup whereby you sell your woocommerce products via this local provider?
Yes, I am already selling in woocommerce and my clients are paying with Mercado Pago. But I didn’t find a way to sell the membeship directly with Mercado Pago.
You would use the WooCommerce and Simple Membership Plugin Integration addon, to sell memberships. WooCommerce would act as an intermediary between SWPM and Mercado Pago. Memberships would exist as WooCommerce products.
