Account Expired Emails

Is there a way I can enable accounts to get an email when the membership expires? I have a few test accounts that expired and I don’t see any email to them stating such. (It’s not in the spam or junk folders)

Turn on the debug logs. If an email was sent, there will be a log entry in the log.

I turned on logs and had 2 more accounts expire with no emails being sent.
The log shows the accounts being created but nothing that I can see about the accounts expiring.

Really? I need to pay for another plugin for this Member plugin to send automatic account expiration emails? It sends account registration and confirmation emails fine. But I have to pay for it to automatically send expiration emails?

There is a history of how things started with our plugin and how it has evolved over time. There are also considerations to make in terms of maintenance of code, support requirements and such. So we should not get into an argument of which extensions/addons we should provide or not provide.
