Confirmation email after register is not send

For the moment i setted this to “pending”

Hello back,
The problem is that i got one email… but it was the final confirmation email, without any need to confirm my email address before.
So if somebody register with a fake email account he can directly access to the content. The default form permits to choose the password, and than log into the account.
Yes i can confirm manually each account, but how to know if the email address is correct or not, if no confirmation is needed?

But The subscriber gets this one:

Debug file is empty. Although i did a new inscription after enabling debug option.

After this new subscription test i got only the mailchimp confirmation email, and after mailchimp confirmation i got the the simple membership email telling me that my account has been confirmed…
Is this the way that it works?
(i connected to my mailchimp account since first test).

BTW redirection after subscription doesn’t work.

Did a new test, same result, got the final confirmation email from your plugin, but no email confirmation, just only one email with account confirmation. No more mailchimp emails… and no more subscribers in the mailchimp list.

If have informations now in the debug file, all seems great, but it did not work correctly. If people subscribe this way, i wont even get the eñail in my list…

Thats exactly what i told you
the log file tells that all works fine
BUT
it doesn’t:
*Subscriber does not receive any “confirm your subscription” email
*he receives directly the final email with account access and password
*i cant be sure that the entered email address is correct
*the subscribers are not added to my mailchimp list
*but they are added to the plugin’s subscriber list

I could send you privately my register page and you will see by your own that you’ll get access to the content without any confirmation!

It worked only one time – was a miracle?

ps yes i have the last version of the plugin.

I desactivated/activated each of your plugins

Than made a new subscription with different email address
Result:

->> 1/ Received directly the Final confirmation email with password (“Your registration is complete” email)
->> 2/ Got the “Please Confirm email” after the “registration is complete” email (!)
->> No redirection
