Blank Email on Reset Password

I have checked all setting and they seem to be correct. All other forms send correctly. However when the recipient receives the email the body is blank. But when you go to Message View Source you can quite clearly see the password reset information amongst lots of other coding.

Email subject: Burstner UK Owners’ Club: New Password

Email Body:Dear {first_name} {last_name}

Here is your new password:

Username: {user_name}
Password: {password}

You can change the password from the edit profile section of the site (after you log into the site)

On clicking Password Reset and entering the email address the recipient receives an email in their normal mail with subject line but no text body. If you click on View, Message, Raw Source this is what appears.

They could be using a variety of software. MacMail and Gmail and Webmail have all been tested.

I have tried deleting the image used for a header and reinstating it but that seems to make no difference. In my development area there seems to be a problem with the image displaying in the header and instead a tagline appears (which I have not set for the email template). I’m wondering if the problem is with the email template itself and the header area?

I also have Email Subscribers as a plugin and have the templates set to WP HTML Mail, other options are WP Plain Text Mail, PHP HTML Mail or PHP Plain Text Mail. Would either of these settings affect the email through Simple Membership?

I have done this and it has made no difference. The problem is with the email being sent out from Simple Membership on Password Reset. It arrives at the other end but the message is blank. If however you go to Message, View, Raw Source you can see the new password etc amongst lots of other code. This is the only email that is sent from our website that does not work! It was working on 4 May but now is not.
