Hiding the “Join Us” Option from Visitors

The Simple Membership plugin has a feature that allows the site admin to hide the “Join Us” link from visitors on the front end of the website. This feature is particularly useful for websites where the administrator prefers to manually add users, rather than allowing self-registration.

How to Enable the Feature

To enable the option to hide the “Join Us” link:

  1. Navigate to the plugin’s settings page in the WordPress dashboard.
  2. Go to the “Advanced Settings” tab of the plugin.
  3. Locate the setting labeled “Hide the Join Us Link”.
  4. Check the box and save the settings to hide the “Join Us” link from visitors on the front-end of your site.

Once enabled, visitors will no longer see the ‘Join’ or self-registration links within the various protection messages displayed by the plugin.

Manually Adding Users

With the “Join Us” option hidden, the site admin can still manage user registrations by manually adding users through the plugin’s admin interface. For more information, refer the documentation on manually adding users.
