ParticipantThank you for checking that out. I’ll do some other inquiries to try to track down what is causing that. I appreciate you working through this with me.

ParticipantBelow is a copy and paste from the site for the Registration Complete notice. I did find that I can get it to format using HTML tags, though the tags get wiped out if I toggle between Visual and Code tabs.

ParticipantAh. I see it’s written directly on the page that the bulk emailer doesn’t use merge tags.(emphasis added):
Email Settings (Bulk Account Activate Notification)
This email will be sent to your members when you use the bulk account activate and notify action. You cannot use email merge tags in this email. You can only use generic text.I missed that bit of information, but that answers that question. Might be good to emphasize that point in the help text since it’s different than all of the others on that page.
As for the formatting issue, I shut everything off except the Simple Membership plugin, the related premium Simple Membership plugins, and SMTP2GO (my email routing/sending method). The formatting issue continues in the same way.
There shouldn’t be anything happening in my site to alter the emails being created; SMTP2GO doesn’t alter emails to my knowledge, just routes them to be sent. I can’t turn that plugin off because it’s what I am using the actually send the emails.
Thank you for any additional information you can provide. If you need the actual emails, I export them fully intact (with headers, etc.) and share them if need be. Happy to do any additional troubleshooting with some guidance.
