ParticipantAny more thoughts on this issue as it is causing some problems for users on I-Phones and mobile devices as well
It says they are Logged in but the tab Login | Join, indicates they are Logged OUT

ParticipantExactly the same, when I login to either Chrome or Internet explorer and I get the Members menu, then close either one, when I reopen them they are back to the Login | Join menu, I then have to logout and log back in again.

ParticipantHi, No the Hide Adminbar is not set, although when I log in and out I only use my Login | Join page rather than the Admin Login

ParticipantHi, thanks for the reply, I have tried Twenty Fourteen and Twenty Thirteen, these give a different problem, when I load these themes I am not able to hide the menu options at all, so no matter what settings I have in my menu options, “Logged In” or “Logged Out” I am still able to see both options “Login | Join” and “Members” I have WordPress 4.2.2 running and all plugins are up to date.

ParticipantHi, I have tried it on both Chrome and Internet Explorer, both are up-to-date and no I am not using a cache plugin.

ParticipantThis is the URL to the main page http://aphukrescue.org.uk/ it is the top menu bar that shows the two menu items, either Members or Login
This is the Members page http://aphukrescue.org.uk/members
and this is the login page Login | Join page http://aphukrescue.org.uk/login-join
you can create a free account from that page, it seems to happen more when I close my browser when I am logged in and then when I reopen it, that is when I get the problems

ParticipantHi, thanks for the reply, I have looked at changing this to separate pages but the reason I wanted to do it without is that I have a button the redirects to this page from the login page, if the redirector does not redirect, which has happened before, so basically if after login the “Simple Membership After Login Redirection” does not redirect (I have had this before) then pressing the button will direct you to the page, if I have more pages then I need either more buttons or the button needs to be set to direct me to the page dependant on my access level, which I am not sure this can be done.
Also if I am already logged in then go away from the secure page (Members) and back in to it again it won’t automatically redirect me to the (Members Area) which is where the secure content is , Unless I am doing something completely wrong in my page setup?
Sequence
From the main page I click the link to (Members) then this lets me login which after login redirects me to the (Members Area) which is where the secure data is stored(Members) is my login page which is linked from the main page
(Members Area) is the page with the secure content and is redirected from the (Members) page -
