If we use the Classic Editor, is it possible that we show a few lines and Featured image for all users. When someone clicks on Read more, then after login, the complete page opens up.

All the pages are showing Protected. Even the frontend login page is also protected.

Issue not resolved
Activated WordPress default theme, Issue not resolved.

Issue with more posts.
There was default category of Posts: “slider”. It is being used for slideshow.
Before editing the post, it was not protected and was visible for all.
The moment I changed the featured image, the posts started showing as locked, even at the backend, it is set as Do Not Protect.
I am deactivating the Simple Member Plugin for the time being.
Please suggest the solution for smooth working. If you need, I can forward the administrator details through PM.

I switched to the wordpress default theme, the issue was not resolved. I deactivated all the plugins except Simple Membership, still the same issue. Will be suitable, if I forward the backoffice details to you, for checking and resolution.

The registration and Join us pages were created by the plugin. The pages have been set to No Protect.
Still, when I go to Join Us page, it shows protected. I change it to No Protect and save, but it reverts back to Protected.
