Thanks, that does the trick. However, even after migrating my WP from the local instance to the domain the code generation button still does not work.

I guess the code is standardized, so that there is no need for the generator. Would the following code work?

yes, I did. the problem is that whenever I hit the “generate code” button, the browser indicates that the site is processing, but no code is generated.
