ParticipantHi guys,
Any news on this?marcossilva
ParticipantI still can’t make SMP work with Nextend (it also doesn’t work with any other social login plugin I have tested).
I have made a video reproducing the problem:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SFBXsxD2rg&feature=youtu.beBasically what’s happening is :
– User is correctly created when I first log in as a SMP Member.
– SMP doesn’t detect the login action from Social Login plugins, even though according to support replies here and in other threads, it should.marcossilva
ParticipantThanks, @admin & @mbrsolution!
However, I just updated the plugin (v and did a bunch of tests (again with Nextend Social Login & MiniOrange Social Login) and it still doesn’t work. :/
Which social login plugins did you test it with?
I enabled logging, and there’s nothing on the log when I login via social login.
I’ve also tried first creating a new user via the SMP admin panel (instead of registering the user via social login), and then logging him in afterwards with the social login and it also doesn’t work that way.thanks a lot again

ParticipantYes, normal user login works fine and correctly logs me in as a SMP member.
While the social login plugins logs me in as a normal user, but not as a SMP Member.

ParticipantBtw, that documentation only talks about the ability to create a member account when a new wp user is created via social login.
That is working correctly.
My issue is when that user logs in via social login. He’s not being logged on as a SMP Member, despite the “force sync” being checked.

ParticipantI’ve checked it, as I said in my original post.
Basically it seems that SMP doesn’t work with social login plugins. They’ll only be able to see free content on the site, as the user who logs in via Social Login doesn’t get logged in on the member plugin.
Is that the case?
It shouldn’t be but that’s how it’s behaving here.
