ParticipantThey were both enabled. Clicking to enable sandbox testing doesn’t do anything here, I don’t know how to use it anyways. So when I went through my purchase with it unchecked (un enabled)
Debug was enabled since the day I set it up. Here is what failed…
– FAILURE :Membership level ID is missing in the payment notification! Cannot process this notification
My membership levels were set up and saved. I set up each pay pal button with the advance code like you have us do and inserted them into the advance code box and created the pay pal button… not sure what else I can do to make this plug in work correctly.
When I saw that it only restricts content (pages) part of the time I had to de activate the plug in and revert back to word press privacy settings. Its all I can do! Thanks anyways

ParticipantSome of the pages are clearly not falling into their assigned privacy settings, its intermittent. Usually, its the first photo set on the page but not always. At first, I thought I had not checked the appropriate box (s) and/or not updated the page before moving on but that isn’t the case. Sometimes I get a blank IE page saying nothing is available and sometimes I get a prompt to log in again so I will move on and check the next page and then return to the suspect page and it will work just fine. Is this a problem with word press or the plug in? I deactivated Simple Membership and reverted to the word press privacy settings for now. Its probably something simple but I had to take the site down until I can trust it. Anyone have any thoughts?

ParticipantWhat did they have you do Steve? Did you get it fixed? I am having the same problem. No Membership account was created by the plug in. I never heard back about this sandbox payment test… so I went ahead and used my credit card and signed up to my website. Everything went through paypal just fine, and then I was redirected to my login page that I created. I was sent confirmation of payment from paypal as the seller. The problem is My email (as the buyer) never arrived. I am assuming that the registration, sign up stuff is in that email? What instructions there are state that the plug in will recognize what option I signed up for? The link that the admin posted takes me right back to here? FYI, I did the same test with the free account and emails were sent to me perfectly, login works perfectly, and I even tested the new password option. Please send me info if you were able to get yours fixed! Thanks ~Kelly

ParticipantPerfect! Thanks for the pages! Are there more support pages somewhere? Now… How do I test it with out subscribing to my website my self… without sending money to pay pal? I clicked the option for sandbox payment testing… how do I activate that?

Participant1-A couple of the pages that were built and automatically uploaded to me when I installed Simple Membership got deleted by accident. I have looked around my downloads folder and the only thing that is visible is the little instruction file that came with the install. I deactivated, deleted, and then re-installed simple Membership a couple of times thinking they (the pages) would load again to try and get them back with no luck. What I am looking for is the login icon/tile, whatever its called so I can finish building my login page.
2-I thought I read something about your sandbox to test the system once I am done configuring. I’m pretty sure I am good with pay pal but I would like to test how the login, password part works. Is there any documentation somewhere explaining that process?
