ParticipantI had this issue also and the problem turned out to be page builder. When I put the forms inside widgets to make pages, the messages didn’t return. Took a few weeks to figure it out though!

ParticipantHi Dimabuko – I’m having issues with the same thing. Several of the pages need a message, because after the user inputs the info, it’s hard to tell if the form worked (free version). I’m very interested in your solution – do you happen to have the code in English? Hope it’s working for you!
Thanks for your time!

ParticipantI’m sorry to keep asking but I have to fix this – everything was fine until yesterday. I have several .htaccess files in my wordpress files – could you be more specific about which one and what I should be looking for? You’re welcome also to try to register on my site, and you’ll see what I mean – nothing happens, so it looks like it’s not working to the new user.

ParticipantWill the members I have so far and membership levels be saved if I reinstall the plugin?

ParticipantI didn’t answer your question – i’d like to keep users on same page after they log in, and let them see they’ve successfully logged in.

ParticipantI just checked it the general settings for the urls – that’s how I got the info for my last post.
Wordpress Address: ny030.org/wp
Site Address: ny030.orgI think the page is just the error page that comes with my theme. Instead of saying 404 it says Not Found.
Any idea why registration page isn’t returning a message & most other messages don’t show up (except for account pending after I try to log in with new registration)?
Do you ever recommend to reinstall these pages and start over? Does it save the members and membership levels that have been created when you have to do this? i’d rather not try this but I’m not experienced with code. I don’t really know what to look for in the .htaccess file unfortunately.

ParticipantNo I didn’t add it – I think it’s a default page not found issue. Sometimes it goes to ny030.org and sometimes it’s ny030.org/wp. My wordpress address is ny030.org/wp but my site address is ny030.org
This “not found’ page is what comes up when I remove the redirects.

ParticipantDid test with new registration. Before trying it I went into wordfence cache management and excluded all urls that contain member-login and cleared my brewer’s cache again. i use macs with safari.
When I added my info on registration screen it didn’t change & my username, etc still showed, no matter how many times I hit register. When I tried to login, received message account pending (great!). Got email, activated membership (using 2nd computer for admin). Followed login link in email and same thing happened – went to ny030.org, page title “Not Found” and text of body “Sorry but the page you were trying to view does not exist” with some comments on why this may have happened. Navigated to login page & I’m logged in showing as active with membership level.
Same thing is happening very consistently – I just did’t recognize pattern when I first posted last night. This is an active site, so I need to put redirect back as we’re getting new registrations this weekend.

ParticipantAlso just tried password reset page – entered email and nothing changed. Page stayed on same url. I thought there used to be a message on this screen.

ParticipantCan you share the page it says it cannot find? Does this page exist?
I just removed the redirect, deleted my browers cache and tried again – still going to page not found at ny030.org/wp/ although I am logged in when I go back to page. How did you add the redirect? Did you use a plugin, or an add-on?
The redirect was put in with the simple membership plugin by putting a link on membership level page. How often do messages pop up on the pages?
Messages don’t come up at all – the only one I see is when I reset password in edit profile. When I hit submit once, nothing changes. When I hit button again, page goes to “you are not logged in”. This time when I login, it stays on page & shows me active & membership lvl. I’m using wordfence basic caching & I tried to remove caching on sm pages – option on all pages screen to remove page by page. Yes, test membership I created does have correct level to access. Live site, so I have to put redirect back now. -
