When I manually edit a member’s Simple Membership Member Level, say from Registered User (which maps to the WordPress User Role of Subscriber) to Customer (which maps to the WordPress User Role of Customer), and click Edit User, the WordPress User Role is not updated. It stays as the Subscriber role. I hoped it would update to Customer role.

Is there a fix for this?

    Thanks!
    Brent

Hi, when you update a member it will not change the user role under Users in WordPress. Currently that is how the plugin works.
