I cannot find a place to put the email address that will receive notification that a new member has joined and requires activation.
I have two levels of membership, one is defined as admin level (other is defined as subscriber) and there are two of us at that level. I think that it is getting confused at this point who should get the email and not sending it at all.
At the WordPress admin level, once again, there are two of us who have admin rights to the website.
At the moment, NEITHER of us get an email when someone joins and this causes delays for the new member if we don’t login and check several times every day for additions. There will be many new members at this time because it is new.
I am the person who actually set the site up, the owner isn’t technical at all and knows just about enough to add content but insists he wants control because he manages the subscription payments manually and won’t allow me to create an automatic payment system.
There needs to be somewhere in settings that asks ‘Email to receive new member notifications’.
The notification currently goes to the email address you specify in the “From Email Address” field. Yes, in the future we will add a new field to specify the email address where the admin notification will go to.
