    Hi,

I have recently purchased the form builder addon and and used it to create a long and complicated registration form. The members need to be registered medical practitioners and this is why the registration form needs to collect a lot of data about them. After testing out the form by registering a few test users I can’t find any way to view this data. In the members section, when I click on edit user the fields don’t show up. I can’t find where to get the info anywhere. Can anybody let me know where I can view the data?

    Thanks,
    Niall

Hi, can you check to make sure that a Profile form was also created for the Form that you created with all the fields.

A form was set up yes. Where is it that the info is usually stored. I tried checking the custom user fields but it’s not there. Do I have to look through my database to find this information? I can’t understand how a plugin which claims to allow you to “collect information about your users” has no way for an admin to view that information. I have noticed that when i click in to edit a member, there is a “Custom Fields” heading at the bottom of the page but there is nothing underneath it? Is that where the info should be? I have spend hours and hours integrating simple membership plugin into a clients site based on the fact that it could collect this info. Do I have to remake the whole site? Sorry if I come across like a prick, it’s just very frustrating.

    Thanks for all your help,
    Niall

When you create a form, the plugin also creates a profile form for that Membership level. This profile should have all the fields you added in the membership form. Then when you view the Members as an Admin, you will see all the fields you added to the form.

Ok I have created a new form and tested with some test users and this one shows the info in the edit member screen. Thanks very much for your help mbrsolution! One last question. I would rather that members not be able to change their info on their my profile screen, in fact I would rather it didn’t show up there at all, except for changing their password. Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks.

The only action I can suggest is not to display the profile page. Another words don’t publish the profile page.

Is there a way for the admin to get informed when a member changes the information collected by the form builder addon?
