Is there a way to use batter usernames: with spaces? for instance: “First Name Last name” instead of “FirstnameLastname”
A lot of users are complaining that once they added a username, they cannot change it to something useful

Ultimately it should be First Name, Last name.

Also is there a way not to display usernames in the membership list?

Unfortunately no. The username cannot have spaces between names. For example: Bob Smith will produce an error message. You can try entering Bob-Smith instead of BobSmith. This is a minimum requirement for this field.
