User Export and Import without making them reset their password

Hi There:

I’m looking to do a large overhaul of our member site and I’m not sure the best way to do that. The ideal scenario would be to have a staging site and then import users into that site without requiring them to reset their passwords. Is that possible?

You could try to export and then import the database from the server using tools like phpMyAdmin. Then you could import the WP Users into simple membership plugin using the following instructions https://simple-membership-plugin.com/import-existing-wordpress-users-simple-membership-plugin/. That might allow you to use the same password.
