ParticipantI’ve been using Ultimate Member for a year, so it handles mylogin, registration, profile, password reset, and member directory needs. I purchased a theme that includes your plugin. I’ve searched through the documentation and online, but I can’t find an answer to my question. Can I use Simple Membership just for the membership options and subscriptions? Or is it an all or nothing situation?
Thank you!

To be clear; SWPM is open source software, so please ensure you weren’t “charged” for it; when you purchased your theme. Also ensure that you are using the most recent version of the plugin; which can be downloaded here:

Please be more specific.

ParticipantI use the Newsy theme and SWPM was included in their plugin package. They also have a Newsy membership plugin that integrates it into the theme. Prior to installing Newsy, I was using Ultimate Member for login, registration, account, profile, etc. a full membership system. They don’t have the ability to create membership levels, payment buttons, or a separate Join page.
My question is: can I use your plugin just for the membership levels and payment buttons while continuing to use my own registration and user account set up and only use the membership payment part of your plugin? I also use a social login system that integrates with Ultimate Member’s login and registration pages. I paid extra for add-ons that allow users to become verified, instant messaging, instant notifications and more. For that reason I can’t really switch over to the SWPM completely. Will it work without using the registration, account and profile parts of it?
I realize how confusing it is. Maybe someone will see this and explain it in simpler terms. 😄

Unfortunately, you must choose one membership system or the other — no intermixing. SWPM maintains its own isolated database of members, membership levels, and access permissions.
