Yes you are correct, sorry for not ready the title more carefully.
Do you want the plugin to automatically stop protecting a page or post after xx amount of days or do you want to know if you can disable manually the protection of a post or page after xx amount of days?
Indeed, the plugin should be capable of automatically unprotecting a page/post after XX amount of days. I am maintaining a newspaper website that offers services for four different local newspapers. They post protected content often, but want the content to be free after 7 days without having to manually keep track of what protected content is older than XX days.
I understand now your request. That option is not available at the present. One of the plugin developers will asses your request further.

We don’t have this feature in the plugin. We don’t claim to have this feature in the plugin either. I have noted down your request so in the future if we can investigate adding a feature like this.
