I have used the shortcode [swpm_mini_login] in the menu of my website for months with no issues.
When WP updated from 6.2 to 6.2.1 (and then to 6.2.2) the menu stopped showing the “login/not a member Join us”
and instead just shows [swpm_mini_login] which does not link anywhere (gets about:blank#blocked)
I tried to redo the menu link but I cannot get it to show anything but the shortcode.
I am using Twenty Twenty Three theme and the menu is in the header. All other menu links (to pages) still work
Can someone help me set the correct link in the navigation menu for this to work. Documentation says this should work and I follow the documentation to add the link.
Are you using version 4.3.3 or better of SWPM? If not, please upgrade.

Summary: do to an upgrade to 6.2.2 of WordPress, you can no longer place short codes in some areas of Block Themes. (Details can be found in the Word Press upgrade notes for 6.2.1 and 6.2.2
I had to MOVE the short code OUT of the navigation menu in the Plugin and place it it a different area the header.
So, This was not a Simple Membership issue and can be marked Resolved
