The admin of this site does not allow users to access the wp dashboard — HELP!

[adelamora]

I cannot access my WP-Admin

When I try to access my Admin panel via wp-admin I get the message:

The admin of this site does not allow users to access the wp dashboard

I’m sure I forgot something on how to login… My test user works fine to browse protected content… but not my admin user.

Please help

Hi, please read the following documentation. Let me know if this helps you.

Thank you

No… it did not help… Nothing about an admin loosing access.

Anyway I fixed. I found some other Admin user changed my Admin status to Subscriber, so I had to go to MySQL and fix my user from the proper table. Then I got my access back.

I am glad you fixed your issue.

How strange that another admin member would change your user role!!

Enjoy the plugin.
