ParticipantI have installed the SWPM Miscellaneous Shortcodes Addon and am using it to try and create a short welcome page for registered members using the information here: https://simple-membership-plugin.com/simple-membership-addon-show-member-info/.
However instead of the shortcodes displaying the correct text, my page is showing text like the following:
Welcome [swpm_show_member_info column=”first_name”] to the Members Area.
You are currently subscribed as a [swpm_show_member_info column=”membership_level”]. Your membership [swpm_show_member_info column=”account_state”].
I have tried deactivating all other plugins (only having the main Simple Membership Plugin and the shortcodes plugin active), as well as reverting back to an unmodified default theme (Twenty Fifteen). But the issue still persists.
Running latest version of WordPress. Page is just a standard page with no other text other than some links to some protected content pages.
Thanking in advance.

ModeratorHi, thank you for reporting this. The plugin developers will investigate further.

KeymasterI just tested the shortcode and it is working for me.
The double quotes in your shortcode looks a little malformed. Please edit that page where you have the shortcode then go to the “Text” mode in the editor. Check to make sure the double quotes are straight ones like ”
If you see the quotes with formatting then delete it and then retype it.
Tip: If you copy the shortcode from our site then paste it in WHILE in the “text” mode of the editor then it won’t paste any formatting. So you will get the proper shortcode without any funny formatted quotes.

ParticipantMany thanks for your response. I tried as suggested and was still receiving the same problem.
However, I tried uninstalling the add-on and reinstalled it again. And all works now. Probably should have tried that first, maybe there was an issue with the inital upload.

ParticipantActually just realised something now that it’s working.
Is there a way to display the name of the membership level instead of just the ID? As this would be more useful than just displaying the ID number, as no one would know what this means.
Many thanks. 🙂

ParticipantI too, would like the “name” of the [membership_level] rather than the “id number.”
Did you get any resolution on this?
Thanks,
Kevyn
