What is the difference in the use of

http://xxxxx/?swpm-logout=true

amd the standard wordpress logout ?

swpm-logout makes some specific check in the logout ?

Hi, the difference is that one logs you out of WordPress and the other logs you out of SWPM. They are both carry out separate actions independently from each other. They don’t integrate unless you use an add-on. This eliminates issues that might arise if integrated.

I don’t understand your second question below. Can you provide more explanation.

Hi,
I have only the intention to make the TOTAL logout from WordPress, then from any service like swpm where the user is logged in.

The question means that I see different url parameters to make the logout from wordpress and from the swpm.

Then the doubt was: maybe swpm before to log out makes a disable something or check something.

I want only make the wordpress logout in a “clean” way.

Hi, those who are WordPress members will log in using the normal WordPress login. Those that are Simple Membership plugin members will use the Simple Membership plugin login process. Even if the member belongs to both WordPress and Simple Membership Members, the process is the same. When they log in through WordPress they will log out through WordPress, when they login through Simple Membership login process they will log out through the Simple Membership Process.

The difference is if the WordPress member which also happens to be a Simple Membership Member does not have the right to view a post or page they will see a message letting them know they don’t have permission to view the post or page; even if they have logged in as WordPress member.

In my humble opinion it is best to use only one system to manage your members or else it will become complicated to manage.
