Submitting membership profile alters role membership

I am an admin on my WordPress site. When I submit the profile editor:
/membership-login/membership-profile/
… I am removed from the WordPress admin role.

This is both unexpected and undesired. Please advise.

Can you provide more information. I am not really following what you mean.

• Before submitting the form, I am a WordPress admin (my user account is in the WordPress “Administrator” role)
• I submit the membership profile form with changes (Simple Membership Plugin – custom forms addon – custom form). For instance, on my profile I update my phone number.
• After submitting the form, I am no longer a WordPress admin (my user account is no longer in the WordPress “Administrator” role)

That, my friend, is a bug.

Are you referring to the Membership Form Builder Addon? If the answer is “yes,” please open a “Premium Addon Support” ticket, and a developer will contact you directly.
