ParticipantI found this extension for you plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-membership-menu/
Do you support it now? Is it working solution for membership menus?November 29, 2016 at 10:16 pm #9037mbrsolution
ModeratorHi, that is a third party plugin. We have no control and we don’t support third party plugins. The plugin has not been updated in over a year. I would be very careful if I was going to install it. I always recommend people not to install plugins that have not been updated for a long time and or are not up to date.

ParticipantI have this plugin setup on two separate installations and I love having the ability to hide menu items from non-members. Unfortunately, as it is older and hasn’t been updated, I guess it isn’t supporting all menu types and is throwing an error on one of the sites (Both WordPress 4.7)
Would it be possible to add this ability to Simple Membership or is there any other way to incorporate this function without going to a different membership plugin?
In-case anyone has a quick guess, this plugin is throwing the following error. My only guess was that it has something to do with the way the menu on our site is written, as it is working on our first installation with the only difference being the menu (Same plugins, theme, etc…)
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in plugins/simple-membership-menu/swpm-menu.php on line 217

Moderator@Agentbaj, the plugin developers will investigate further your request. However have you had a look in the WordPress repository? There are a few more menu controlling plugins?
Let me know how you go.
Regards

KeymasterThis plugin was developed by a community user. I don’t know anything about it unfortunately.
I did install the plugin on my test site and it doesn’t show any error though.

ParticipantI also had it installed on 2 different sites. With the last wordpress update this membership menu plugin no longer works on either site. Because it is included as an addon in your site, I assumed it was a plugin that you support. If that is not the case, you should remove it from what looks to be legitimate and supported addons by you and your membership plugin. Changing a membership plugin on a working site is not a simple task. Nor is finding a new plugin that may or may not integrate with all the others onsite.
