InactiveI am using Simple Membership for Registration but BuddyPress for Profiles. I uploaded BP Verified Member plugin to show a green shield for those members who had their profiles verified, and a red x for those who are not verified.
I love the principle of the plugin but it has not been updated and is throwing lots of errors, so I’m wondering, if I created two levels, one for unverified and one for verified if I could do something similar. What I’m wondering is how would I show an icon on the view profile.
I have Form Builder but thinking this is more of a BuddyPress matter re implementation. Just looking to pick your brains if anyone has any ideas of how this might work.
Thank you.

ModeratorI see from your past posts going back to 2016 that you may have hired someone to do some customizations. Have you been keeping all of your plugins up to date?

InactiveThis is a new staging site, currently just on local on my own computer, but indeed I hired SM to create a custom plugin for me that opens member directory in buddypress profiles. They did a beautiful job of it, however now I am in the process of trying to sync fields since the profile fields from SM registration do not match buddypress profile fields, so I do have another issue in this situation where, when I add script to add last name it does throw errors, but since I paid for the form builder addon I have requested help for this situation from the paid addon support.
So to get back to your original question, all plugins are up to date but the bp-verified-member plugin “hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”

KeymasterIn the template, you can add a condition to check the membership level ID of a given member.
For example:
$level_id = SwpmMemberUtils::get_membership_level_id_of_a_member($member_id);You can then use this value to display a checkmark (or other output) based on the member’s level.
The following page has some code example that might be helpful:
