Renewals: additional option

Hi,

I have a Free membership level, and a number of paid-for membership levels.

I have recently had a member who no longer wants to have a paid-for membership. Their membership has recently expired, but having the “FREE” button on the renewals page doesn’t seem to work as I would like. When the expired member clicks on the FREE button, they are taken to a new registration page, as though they were applying for a FREE membership for the first time.

Would it be possible to allow someone to have the option to change from their expired paid-for membership to a Free one?

In the meantime, I have changed it for them.

I will add a shortcode in the next release that you can use to create a button on a page to allow members change their level to the free one.
