ParticipantMembers before this plugin was used have a free account. They will have to renew using PayPal to switch over to be a paying member. I set up the renewal page with payment buttons per instructions. When the member tries to access protected content. They get the Your account has expired. Please renew link. When they press the link. Nothing happens. How do I program this link to go to my renewal page?

ModeratorHi, can you please check the following documentation. Let me know if this is what you did.
Can you further explain the following message.
Members before this plugin was used have a free account.Thank you

ParticipantI followed the instructions provided. I did Step 5.
Step 5) Protect/hide this “Membership Renewal” page so members are required to log into the site before making the payment. The plugin can easily apply the payment to a member’s profile when the member is logged into the site.
When I unprotected the page, the renew link works.

ModeratorHi, you have not answered my other question above about the message?

ParticipantApologies. That means my members that enrolled in the association before using the plugin on the website are given a temporay free level. I then have to track externally when they actually expire and mark them expired so they have to renew.

ModeratorHi, please enable Debug Mode. Then create a temp account with 1 day expiry period. Once the account has expired, follow your renewal instructions above. Then check the log file and report back with any findings. Alternative wait until someone goes to renew their account and then check the log files.
Also did you enable the following feature Enable Expired Account Login under Advanced Settings?

ParticipantLuck would have it and I had someone upgrade his account last night. The log file shows the upgrade and everything. Guess problem is solved.
The whole time the Enabled Expired Account Login was activated.
