    I recently uninstalled the Simple Membership Plugin on a site that formerly used it but no longer has a membership requirement, but it seems that something is still replacing filenames for file downloads, e.g. downloading a PDF file called ‘download.pdf’ changes its filename from ‘download.pdf’ to ‘true.pdf’.

    I need downloaded files retain their original filename. Is this something I can fix?

    I found that this problem has nothing to do with the Simple Membership Plugin so now resolved.
