    When users click on the registration complete link from their email the corresponding page results in the following error:

    curl_exec() failed. Error:

    This also happens if I generate a new code using Settings>Tools and try to access the registration complete link myself.

    Site has only one type of paid membership, no free membership.
    This process worked successfully until 24 April, since then all 4 new members who paid and received emails are getting the error and cannot complete registration.
    No new plugins have been installed since implementing Simple Membership.
