    Hi

Payment etc all works fine, but when my users get the Reg Link in the Complete Your Membership email, such as:

    https://www.xxx.com/membership-join/membership-registration/?member_id=103&code=20826131fb9512b18424d8796310cc25

The link is broken. They get a page saying Page Not Found / No Posts Found.

Now, if I then go into Admin, SM > Settings > Tools and ‘Generate Link For All Incomplete Registrations’, it generates the exact same link, but this time it works, and indeed, clicking it NOW from the welcome email, it also works.

I have had 2 people sign up to Membership, both had this issue, and when I tested it myself just now I did have the same issue.

Any thoughts why this might be happening?

If you copy the link from the email, and paste it into the browser’s address bar; doe that work?

Please provide a working link to a free account signup page, so that we can try it.

    Hi

There is no free account signup. However, I have just created and paid for a new membership, and here is the link from the Welcome Email:

Please could you change the URL in this post when you have copied it.

    Please check:
WP Membership –> General Settings –> Pages Settings

    1. For each of the 5 fields, especially “Registration Page URL ” there should be something filled in.

    2. And on the WordPress “Pages” screen, there should be matching pages for each of those fields.

    Hi

I have double-checked everything you say and it was all already set correctly.

Some new information for you which may help:

When I am logged in to the site as Admin, and I click the link in the Welcome email, the link DOES work. But if I then log out of Admin and try the link, it is broken again and I get Page Not Found (and the header on that page says “No posts found…”).

So, it ONLY works if I’m logged in already as admin!

    Hi

Well, my face is red. My colleague pointed out that the Membership Registration page was still in Draft and hadn’t been published.

I’m very sorry for this stupid oversight and wasting your time. Perhaps leave this here to let other idiots like me know how to fix it 🙁

So i am having an issue but i think it was myfault.
In the log in page, I accidently deleted the short code for that page, and i was wondering if you could email me that code again. I tried to look for it, but i failed to find it.
    [swpm_registration_form]

Is that the one i need? Again its for the login page.

Yes I do, but either way i cant seem to SEE any kind of registration form to set up a login to my site. I have every thing else set up just not the registration form for the customer.

    Free or Paying member.

You didn’t do anything “silly,” like protecting the registration form???
