Hi there,
wonder if it would be possible to redirect an unlogged User to a certain page, when he is visting a Page which is only meant to be viewed for logged-in Users?
Thanks!
Marco
Hello Marco, please check the following documentation full-page-protection-addon-simple-membership. Let me know if this is what you are looking for.
Thank you
Thanks, but that Addon doesn’t help, since it’s doing the same as the standard protection, just for the whole page (=Header+Footer).
No, what I meant was to be able to point a User to a custom set URL when he tries to open a protected page.
For example:
User enters https://www.mypage.com/memberarea in his Browser. The page ‘member area’ is protect. So instead of gettin the Plugin message “You need to be login to view this message etc.”, I want to redirect the User to this URL
Hi, thank you for providing more information. Please check the following documentation https://simple-membership-plugin.com/simple-membership-miscellaneous-php-tweaks/. Check the following title Check Current User’s Post Access Permission then Redirect User. I think this is what you are looking for.
Kind regards
Thanks! That’s for Posts. Does that also work for pages?
Yes is should also work for pages. Can you carry out a test and report back if you run into issues with pages.
Thank you
