Hi:
In the settings page of Simple Memebership plugin I can see the email to be sent after someone registers for my free membership. The mail should say please click this link etc” and only after they click the link it takes them to complete the registration, correct? This email should go from my site, right?
Whereas what happens is that the recipient gets an email that the registration is already complete, and the user is already added to my site as a subscriber, and additionally a confirmation email from mailchimp is going asking the recipient to get added to the mailchimp list. This should not happen because nowhere have I set mailchimp for double optin. So mailchimp should not be sending a mail, right?
Please help me with this confusion.

Hi, I think this is a MailChimp configuration. Have you spoken to MailChimp support? All this plugin does through the MailChimp add-on is integrate Simple Membership with MailChimp and add your members to a MailChimp list.
