ParticipantI was looking for a plugin that would maintain a database of members who would not be Users of WordPress. I had to install and test many plugins before finding this one. I would have saved a lot of time if your plugin advert specifically said that I could maintain a database of members who would not be Users of WordPress (and specifically what I could do with the member database once it was loaded.
It took me quite a few hours to successfully load 500+ members from a CSV file because of two problems:
1. The documentation for the CSV add-on is not clear. I was entering a valid CSV filename but not seeing any recognition that the file had been accepted. I did see the file in Media but not in the main upload page. Finally by a process of experimentation I saw “Link URL”, “Insert into Post” and “Save all changes” was a sequence that worked. Nowhere in the documentation is that process described.
2. With my ChromeBox and Chrome Browser none of the secondary tabs in the main plugin or add-ons can be activated with a click. I finally worked out that a right click and “Open in a new tab” worked. This is not obvious and IMHO poor practice.
But at last success! Thanks for the plugin! It looks as if does just what I want. But I still have to install and test the payments options…

ModeratorHi, thank you for your thorough explanation and pointers. Can you specify in steps if you don’t mind what steps of the documentation did not work for you.
Thank you

ParticipantAs I said, I did successfully load 500+ member records to WP Membership. And now I can maintain the database easily. However, it was a painful process and many users might give up before succeeding. Here’s some ideas to improve the process:
I see that one can load other WP databases with the CSV/DB tool but I have no interest in doing that. If the primary user need is to load members and products, it would be better to have 2 versions, one with the load choices specific to members and the other with load choices specific to products. Maybe a third for people who want to load other tables.
A member load specific version would have the member_tbl hardwired instead of a pulldown. The column names should be in a CSV file to be downloaded to be used as a template. The input CSV file to be loaded should be found via a directory search and then just press a button to upload.
Your documentation has two versions of the required column layouts for members. The correct one is the 31 column version.
The primary key dialog is totally confusing but the confusion goes away since member_tbl doesn’t need a primary key.
If the load fails, give meaningful error messages.
The column name account_state would be better as account_status.
Your links to your video takes me to: https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/how-to-easily-import-or-export-any-of-your-wordpress-database-content-using-phpmyadmin-3415 which doesn’t help me since I don’t want to do any of that.
My final comment is to keep the interface simple such that it is self explanatory and doesn’t need documentation.
