As far a I can see, the information that you can get for a member via SwpmMemberUtils::get_user_by_id($memberId) only returns the data from when a member logs in. If they log in and then update their name or email address, this information is out of date and doesn’t get updated unless they log out and back in again. Anyone noticed this? Is it possible for this information to be refreshed when a member updates their info via the profile update form (core and form builder)? Thank you 🙂
Hi, do you know if they click on the Submit button at the bottom of the profile page after they finish updating their profile?
We use the form builder add on, but, yes, they will submit the form to change their details.
Hi in that case what you mentioned above is correct. They need to log out and then log back in to see the changes or they could try to refresh the profile page while they are logged in. Another factor to take into consideration is if you have a cache plugin installed in your site. The cache page might take a few seconds to refresh as well.
