ParticipantHi,
I have installed the plugin and setup 3 different levels of membership as below:-
Free Member
Ordinary Member
Premium MemberSo when I tried to check out with the real paypal account, once the payment is done for “Ordinary Member”, I will have to click on the “return to merchant” button and will be redirected back to the existing website. However, I am not receiving any sign up form or “unique registration link (valid for one user registration) to this user’s email address”. How can I fix this? Is it something wrong with the settings of my PayPal Subscription button or am I missing any steps?
HELP PLEASE?

ModeratorHi, have you set up your PayPal IPN? If you haven’t can you read the following documentation.
If the above does not apply to you what settings do you have under Settings -> Email Settings?
Thank you

ModeratorHi, are you using Sandbox or live mode?

ParticipantI am having the same issues so I might jump in π
1) when creating a paypal button through SMWP and use its shortcode, in Sandbox mode, I get this message: βThe link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again. β
2) if I create a button (including the advanced variables) in the paypal sandbox business account and complete a transaction (Yay!) by first, of course, copy the code of the button generated by Paypal in the Join page
–> Nothing happens: the transaction took place but SMWP does not register it so I do not receive the email with the link to complete registration either.I am a bit at a loss π Help?

ModeratorHi @tapuat e-mails cannot be set up and sent in Sandbox mode. Remember this is a pretend account set up. Your best option in this case is to set up live mode.
