ParticipantHi,
I have added your plugin along with the purchased form builder and have created a form for paid members, on Paypal I created a subscribe button and added the advanced variables code generated by the plugin and added take customers to this URL after checkout with the URL for membership-registration.Problem: Once the customer checks out they are redirected and the page does not show the form, instead informs the member that free membership is disabled.
Did I miss a step in the setup or something?

ParticipantAlso I forgot to mention that wordpress sent an email stating “Your account has been upgraded”
I double checked the users list wondering if there was already a user with that email address however found that was not the case.April 4, 2015 at 6:56 am #1365admin
KeymasterIf you do not allow free registration on your site then you can’t directly go to the registration page. Your members need to click on the unique registration link sent to their email after the membership payment.
The steps are explained in the following documentation:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/membership-registration-process-overview/If the user is already logged into the site, then they don’t need to register for an account anymore. The existing account will get upgraded to reflect the payment they just made.
If you are testing, it is always good to use a browser where you are not logged in as a user and then do a test (as if you just came to the site for the first time).

ParticipantHi admin,
I was not logged in when this happened, I finally figured out what the problem was and why I was getting this issue, Paypal IPN was not enabled.I found the instructions on another post here:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/forums/topic/where-do-new-members-go-to-get-their-username-and-password-after-paypal-payment/It might be a good idea to post this in the plugin’s documentation to prevent others from having this same issue and asking the same questions, something that might be common sense to you might not be to others, just a thought.

ParticipantAlso I might just be having an off day, but I cant seem to find a search bar for the forum. It might minimize repeat questions if your users can search for the question before posting, I know there is a search function on the site itself but this does not seem to search the forum.
