The administrator user needs to be a member of a level, that is permitted to see the content. Since you created an “Admin” level, simply make sure the WordPress user account for the administrator is a member of that level. BTW, IMHO, “Admin” is a terrible name for a membership level name; because it can mean many things. “Admin Users” or “Site Admins” is a more descriptive choice.

Hi, and thanks for a quick response. I must addmit that Admins is not the best name but we are just messing around with the plugin and trying to understand how it works.

Where do i add my wordpress admin to that member level?
I can see only normal members under WP Membership -> Members

There are 2 ways of doing this…

    1. Register and then manually elevate a(n existing) member from the WP Users screen to the “Administrator” role.
    2. Manually add an existing WP admin user from the Members screen to your “admin” membership level.

I personally prefer #1, because having a separate WP admin user just for the memberships leaves me with the original WP admin user account as a “backup.”

I would like to go with solution #2 but i cannot see any WordPress users in WP Membership Members screen.
There are only the users that has registered thru your plugins registration page.

    Wordpress All Users
    wp_users

    WP Membership Members
    wp_membership_members

Is it possible to manually add my WordPress user Hallinta (Administrator) to the WP Membership Members admin level?

Yes, you can. But don’t try changing the password from the plugin screen. It will be ignored.
