ParticipantI am trying to use Partial Protection for Specific Members, but as I enter the ID’s, the code doesn’t work for no more than one id. I tested it out using my admin ID on a different browser. If I only use the admin ID, I could see my secret message, but if I added more than one user ID, the message doesn’t show up.
I am wondering what’s the difference between the two: Partial Protection for a Specific Member vs. Partial Protection for Specific Member. I see what it says in the documentation, but the one I need isn’t working.February 11, 2025 at 9:56 pm #29672The Assurer
ModeratorDid you remember to install the Partial Protection Addon?
And you are following the example for use of Partial Protection for Specific Members, as shown in this document?

ParticipantI had a pending post over a week ago, but my response has not appeared on this topic. Maybe someone erased it rather than help solve it.
Again, I have the plugin installed, I have been using it for over three years.
I sent these videos to help:

KeymasterThe option to protect multiple member IDs was recently added to the addon. Try the following:
Please download a new copy of the Partial Protection addon.
Delete the currently installed one then upload and activate the newly downloaded one.

ParticipantThank you, this worked perfectly. How do we know when a plugin is updated? I would like to be notified if possible so that my site keeps working smoothly as I enjoy your plugins. Thank you for the help!

ModeratorOur philosophy is that updates should only be installed if there is an issue. However, if you want to; you can always download SWPM from the home page once a month, and check the version number listed in the simple-wp-membership.php file.
