We really like the formatting that this provides: [swpm_protected format_protected_msg="1"]
When using it, we can see only the default message. When we try to add our own message (with hyperlinks, like “Join Now” with a link), we still only see the short formatted message. We have the partial protection add-on; is there a way we can get a custom message with formatting?
Hi, just to confirm with you. Did you follow these instructions? If you did, can you provide the shortcode you are using that is causing this issue in your site.
Thank you
This is the code we used: (screenshot) http://prntscr.com/kra8db
The (staging server) page is here: https://gist.techtriadlabs.com/event/philanthropy-racial-equity-and-fiscal-policy/
The message we SHOULD see is: “Whatever content goes here is only visible to members who belong to the membership level 2.” (nicely formatted). Code was entered in text mode. Visual Composer is not used on this post.
This is what we see: http://prntscr.com/kraaoi
Can you tell us what we may have done wrong? (I believe you already have a login for this site.)
Hi,
The message we SHOULD see is: “Whatever content goes here is only visible to members who belong to the membership level 2.” (nicely formatted). Code was entered in text mode. Visual Composer is not used on this post.
In order to see that message you need to be logged in as a member. For example: I logged in with membership level 3. Then while logged in I decide to visit that page. Because I belong to membership level 3, I would see that message because only members with membership level 2 can see the protected content. All other visitors to that page that are not logged in as members will see the message This content is for members only.
Let me know if this makes sense to you.
Kind regards
