    If a user resets their password, they receive a notification message. If I change their password through the admin dashboard they get a notification from WordPress, but don’t receive the notification with the actual new password. Is there any way to change this?

    The standard password reset system is for when a member resets his/her password. If you are manually setting a new password for a profile from the admin dashboard then that won’t automatically trigger a password reset email since it is not a desired functionality (most other site admins don’t want that behavior by default).

    When you are setting a new password from the admin interface, you can use the following feature to send a notification email if you wish to:
