Hi,
I would understand what should we do for the new Paypal Merchant Rules that require a change for the IPN Postback.
Here the specific change to do: https://www.paypal-knowledge.com/infocenter/index?page=content&widgetview=true&id=FAQ1916&viewlocale=en_US
The webpage says that a website should have a SSL Certificate (Maybe) OR that the paypal url should be different no more http://www.paypal.com, but ipnpb.paypal.com.
I want to ask.
1 – Should we add an SSL Certificate? If Yes what SSL Certificate we should use?
2 – The Instructions tell that we can use ipnpb.paypal.com. the Membership Plugin will use this URL?
3 – How can we check if our website are conform with the rules?
Kind regards
G.Aloe
You shouldn’t have to do anything.
We will update our plugin if any change is needed. Just know that we will always have an updated and fully working copy of the plugin ready for you (that will work with whatever change PayPal makes).
