New Members redirected to the WP Admin page instead of the correct landing page

I set up this plugin weeks ago, and enabled membership protection on one page. I set the membership level with the “After Login Redirection Page” set to the page which I protected. For the first couple of weeks it worked flawlessly, but starting a couple of days ago, when someone new registers and then logs in, they are redirected to the WP-Admin page.

In the Advanced Settings menu, I have checked the “Enable Auto Login After Registration” option and I have also checked the “Disable Access to WP Dashboard” option. The weird thing is this seems to be happening only to some people. Others have registered and logged into the correct page with no issues. Very confusing!!

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Are you running any page caching plugins or modules, either on your site, server, or even in your browser?

Also, the After Login Redirection Page setting only applies when users log in using SWPM. It does not work if they are logging in via /wp-login.php or a theme login widget or a third-party login plugin.
