Tagged: bug, multisite, user password information
I am using WP Simple Membership on a multi-site application. We are using to run several different programs pages and organize tasks and files for users on each of those programs. I’m running into an issue where things that users or admins update do not seem to update from network settings to WP Simple Membership members.
Is there a reason for this? Is there a fix?
Example:
1. User forgets password and admin resets password in Network Settings.
2. Admin tells user new password.
3. User tried to login, gets password incorrect error.
4. Admin has to go to WP Membership >> Members >> Edit {{username}} >> Manually update password
5. User password now works
Looking for way so that when the password gets reset, it is automatically updated in WP Membership Member data.
Hi, before we go any further can you let me know if you have a cache plugin installed in your network site? Also can you carry out a test for me.
Can you create a test account in one of the sub sites. Then reset the password in the sub site for the test account created, “not in the admin site”. Then try to log into the sub site using the new password for the test account.
Let me know what happens.
Thank you
