Monthly Subscribed User Profile Marked Pending after Each Month Payment

Hi There,

Here is my scenario:
==> I have Monthly Subscription payment option on my website.
==> When user 1st time subscribes to that service, Their account marked as PENDING and go for approval to the admin.
==> Once Admin accept it, their account status is ACTIVE.
==> Current Scenario: After every monthly subscription payment, Users account marked as PENDING and I have to make them ACTIVE again manually.
==> WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR: After 1st approval of Profile, I want Users account will stay ACTIVE after every month’s payment.

Kindly guide me to achieve the same.

Hi,

For a subscription payment, you should be using the “no expiry” settings in the membership level. When the subscription ends or is cancelled, the access will be revoked by the plugin.

Also, make sure that you are updating the “Access Start Date” value of the member when you are manually editing a member’s record and changing their account status. If you don’t update the start date value then it will calculate the expiry from the old date and expiry the account again if the expiry condition has met.

Because you manually change the account to active you have to also make sure you adjust the “Access Start Date” value of the member.

I think I have covered everything I know and it looks like you have set up the subscription correctly. The only action left is to enable Debug mode and wait until the next time a membership account is renewed automatically through the subscription process. If it doesn’t work, check the log file and report back with the outcome.

Hopefully the log file can tell us why the subscription is not working.
