    I created a new Membership Upgrade button that I protected and is only visible to logged in members. I,however, do have one question. If a member paid for a membership (Example: Elite 1 Year Membership for a one time payment of $47) and about 6 months later they decide to upgrade to a Lifetime Premium Membership for a one time payment of $97. Will they be charged just $50 ($97 – $47) to upgrade? I am using the Paypal Buy Now Button.

    There is no provision to only charge “the difference” between 2 membership levels. But since you protected the page containing the upgrade button, you can charge a lessor price for the upgrade, and the full price for initial registrations.
